Park, Georgia, to amend Title 8, Chapter 6 of the Code of Ordinances of the City, so as to adopt
a new and revised Flood Plain Management Ordinance in accordance with laws and
regulations of the State of Georgia; to provide for severability; to repeal all
ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an
effective date; and for other purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance provides for floodplain management in compliance with
federal and state laws and regulations. It is similar to the ordinance adopted
earlier this year, but adds several editorial changes requested by the State
EPD and Clayton County Water Authority.
