1.      Consider a Resolution setting the qualifying dates and times

      for the General Election

 

      SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:  This Resolution sets the Qualifying dates and times for the General Election being held on November 3, 2009, for Mayor and Council Ward 1 and Ward 2 as Monday, August 31st beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending Friday, September 4th at 4:30 p.m. 

 

2.      Consider an Ordinance by the City Council for the City of

      Forest Park, Georgia to authorize the acquisition and purchase of certain real estate in the City for a purchase price of less than the appraised value; to provide for temporary funding of said purchase from the General Fund of the City; to provide for reimbursement to the General Fund from funds received from the “SPLOST” tax in 2009; to provide for severability; to repeal all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes
