SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
Computer Equipment maintenance costs have exceeded budget, primarily due
to the following: maintenance related to
the new central computer server at City Hall, adjustments needed to equipment
when the Internet Service provider (ISP) failed to provide service to the City
for several days, and adjustments to equipment, needed to replace the ISP
following the extended internet service interruption.

Title 9, Chapter 12, Section 9-12-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City, so
as to clarify and make consistent the method of measuring distances pertaining

SUMMARY AND
BACKGROUND: The Communications Center was originally
designed sixteen years ago, and since that time additional equipment and
complex technology has been systematically added. Due to the constant changes in technology and
communications equipment, the physical configuration of the communications
center no longer provides a comfortable work space. The needed upgrade would be used from
surcharge revenues and would not require any additional funds from the City.
