request for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a “group Daycare” home –
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
Marquette and Zaketia Kendrick
(owners/petitioners) currently enjoy a Conditional Use to operate a “Family
Daycare Home” consisting of 6 to 8 children, operating from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00
p.m. at their home located at 4085 Tara Drive, Forest Park. The Conditional Use for this “Family Daycare
Home” was obtained

Kendrick’s have now petitioned for a Conditional Use to operate a “Group
Daycare” which would allow care for 7 to 18 children between the hours of

Consider
an Ordinance by the City Council for the City of
Forest
Park, to place interim development controls in the form of a temporary
moratorium of the issuance of building permits in the downtown core
redevelopment area for the construction of any new buildings or the renovation
of existing buildings in any amount exceeding $5,000.00 for a period of time
not to exceed six months so as to allow for analysis of appropriate land use
and development of a comprehensive redevelopment plan for said area of the City
and potential rezoning of some or all of the property in said area; to provide
for severability; to repeal all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes

an Ordinance to place Interim Development
Controls
on the Issuance of Building Permits for the Construction of new residential
buildings or the renovation of existing residential buildings in any amount
over $25,000.00 in Wards 1 and 2 of the City of Forest Park for a period not to
exceed six months to allow for an analysis of appropriate land use and the
adoption of an amendment to the zoning ordinance rezoning the property in these
areas, and for other purposes

motels, tourist courts or extended stay facilities in the City so as to allow
for analysis and development of appropriate standards and requirements for such
facilities; to provide for severability; to repeal all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other
purposes

Park to amend the Code of Ordinances of the City of Forest Park specifically Title 8,
Chapter 2 thereof, so as to adopt a new Article P providing for Exterior
Finishing standards and requirements for residential dwellings; to provide for
severability; to repeal all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance provides for exterior finishing standards for all new
residential dwellings in the City by requiring that certain exterior walls be
constructed of brick, stone or stucco or a combination thereof.
