AND BACKGROUND: The purpose of the
public hearing is to transmit the Forest Park Comprehensive Plan Partial Update to the Atlanta Regional
Commission and

Public Hearing to receive comments with regard to the proposed rezoning of a
parcel of property lying in Land Lot 19 of the 13th District
SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: The current zoning classification of the
property is R-95 Single Family Residential and the petition would be to rezone
the parcel to Planned Unit Development (PUD).
The property owner is Ernest W. Lee.
The rezoning is sought to utilize a portion of the property as a borrow
pit (a borrow pit is an excavated pit or hole created to provide earth that can
be used on another site).
The
Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing on Wednesday, March 24th
and the motion to approve the petition died for lack of a second.
