1.      Consider an Ordinance by the City Council for the City of Forest Park, Georgia, to amend the Code of Ordinances of the City of Forest Park, Georgia, specifically Title 2, Chapter 1, Article A thereof, so as to provide for Rules of Procedure and Decorum for Meetings of the Governing Body; to provide for severability; to repeal all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes

2.      Consider a Resolution by the City Council for the City of

Forest Park, Georgia, to request on behalf of the City that

the Georgia General Assembly amend Section 5.16 of the City’s Charter so as to reduce the number of votes required to remove a City Official from Office from the currently required “Vote of five (5) Council Members” (which is the total number of Council Member Positions that currently exist in the City) to the “Vote of three (3) Council Members” so that Section 5.16 of the City Charter will no longer be meaningless; and to request the General Assembly to amend Section 5-12(b) of said Charter so as to remove the inconsistency therein that purports to state that Council Members are “Elected at large,” since Council Members in the city are and have been for years elected by Ward by virtue of a prior Charter Amendment; to express the support of the City in favor of said amendments; to repeal all Resolutions and parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes
