9.     Consider an Ordinance by the City Council for the City of

Forest Park, Georgia, to appropriate additional funds in the amount of  $120,000.00 to cover added costs incurred in the Attorney Fees Accounts; to repeal all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith; to provide an effective date; and for other purposes

 

SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND:  Attorney fees in addition to the budgeted amount have been incurred by the City related to the transfer of the Fort Gillem property.  Also fees incurred that are related to City Personnel Attorney matters have been more than budgeted.  Due to the additional attorney fees, the budget needs to be amended to provide an additional $120,000.00 for attorney fees for the current fiscal year.
